Nanosarte is a small business in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information from your order
When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, so we can make, ship and support your order. Payments are handled by our payment providers (such as PayPal and card processors). We never see or store your full card number.

Emails
We email you about your order. We only send newsletters if you sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Children’s drawings, voice notes and stories
When you order a Talking Gift, Connect Through Play product or Occasion Gift, you send us things that belong to your family: your child’s drawing, sometimes a voice note of your child talking about it, and names for a book cover. This section explains exactly what we do with them.
Who sends it
We never collect information directly from children. A parent or guardian sends everything to us, and confirms they have the right to do so.
What we collect
- The drawing (a photo or scan)
- A voice note of your child talking about the drawing, or the words you type for us
- The language the story should be told in
- Names for a book cover, if you order the book
- Your name, email address and order number, so we can match everything to your order
Why we use it
Only to make and deliver your order: preparing the mockup, writing and narrating the short story, linking it to the code on your gift, and printing the product. We do not sell this information.
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted service providers to do this work:
- Translation and voice services, which turn your child’s words into the spoken story in the chosen language
- Secure cloud storage, which keeps the finished story so the code on your gift can play it
- Printing and shipping partners, which receive the artwork and shipping details needed to make and send your product
- Website and email hosting, where your drawings and voice notes arrive
Each provider only receives what it needs for its part of the job. Some of them store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, the information may be accessible to authorities in that country under its laws.

How long we keep it
- Original drawings and voice notes are deleted 30 days after your order is delivered. You keep your own copies.
- The story behind the code stays online for at least one year after delivery so your gift keeps working. We also email you the audio file to keep. You can ask us to remove it sooner at any time.
- Order records (name, address, what you bought) are kept as long as required for tax and accounting.
The story link
Each story has its own private link that cannot be guessed. It does not show your child’s full name. Anyone with the gift, or the link, can listen to it.
Sharing drawings publicly
We only show a customer’s drawing on our website or social media if you tick the optional sharing box when you send it. We never share voice notes, names or stories publicly. You can withdraw that permission at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to take down a story, by emailing info@nanosarte.com. We reply within 30 days.
