Reinvent Ancient Civilisation with Clay

This workshop will help enhance creative thinking abilities by enabling kids to think through:

• a large number of ideas to bring fluency in their creative thinking
• ideas that allow for variety of possibilities to develop flexibility in their creative thinking
• unique and/or unusual ideas to develop originality in their creative thinking
• details and enrichment to develop elaboration in their creative thinking

Kids will participate in the following activities:

• Introduction to Ancient civilizations
• Research on Ancient Civilizations
• Brainstorming round table discussions for the use of clay tools and pots
• Story building and design patterns for ancient civilizations
• Sculpting, colouring, decorating clay pots/tools and lots of fun….

What all you need: White air-dry clay, Acrylic or poster paints, Brush, Paper, Pencil
